Llandudno Football Club, in association with Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust, have been approved to attempt to break a Guinness World Record, for Most Penalties Taken in 24 Hours by a Single Taker. The record will be attempted at Maesdu Park, from 12pm Saturday 12th, to 12pm Sunday 13th, by Welsh Ambulance Football Team Manager Stephen Ford.
The penalties have to be considered legal penalties, and therefore a qualified match official will be present at all times, along with a Goalkeeper, and Independent witnesses.
The record to beat is 1,111 penalties over 24 hours.
All funds raised will go to Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
