Gymtopia North East gymnastics club opened its doors on the 18th of November 2014. And first began its classes at Kenton school sports hall and Walbottle school sports hall with a handful of gymnasts. We soon outgrew the sports hall and with over 200 children on our waiting list we had to move and find bigger premises.

Gymtopia found its own premises in February 2017 in Brunswick industrial estate,Newcastle.And runs as a community based non profit club. Gymtopia offers classes from pre-school and recreational to competitive elite level and has approx 400 members. All our coaches provide excellent coaching programnes to all gymnasts, so they get the best our of their sessions to reach their full potential. We also offer a high level competitive programme for our Elite gymnasts which some have secured spaces in the North County squads and Regional squads

Gymtopia is looking to raise funds to support our club after the past couple of years through covid where we were not sure we could open again and the last 11 months building the clubs members back up, to keep the club going strong.We are now looking to improve our facilities with hopefully expanding our premises in the future , including new equipment to help the progress for all our gymnasts too, and giving approx 25 gymnasts the opportunity to compete internationally in malta a exciting experience for them.
