Story
Lexi-May Pearce was just six years old when she was diagnosed with stage 5 Wilms' Tumour which is a rare kidney cancer which affects children. So far Lexi has had a kidney removed and two parts of her liver. She is now undergoing aggressive chemotherapy for her lungs, with the hope of getting a surgeon's support to have the tumour removed in the future.
Lexi is a determined, beautiful little girl. She is polite and smiley and I have never heard her complain or seen her feel sorry for herself. Lexi has spent a great deal of time in hospitals over the last three years and its been exceptionally hard for her mum, Danielle, to watch Lexi go through more than any child should ever have to.
Lexi loves horses and really wants to ride. I would like to make her dream a reality. She has been up and had a ride on our horses and she is now addicted! Any funds raised from this Just Giving appeal will be given to Danielle to fund further lessons and pony days within an organisation that is tailored towards children with health problems or disabilities which will allow her some much longed for "pony time".
Any donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received. I will keep everyone updated on Lexi's progress and will post photos of her achieving her dream.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read the appeal. Honestly this kid is absolutely awesome!!
