What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We loan out birth pools for free to those in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs. Over the years we've helped hundreds of people have the home birth they dream of.
"It was fantastic being able to birth at home and in the water!"
We're continuing to fundraise for new pools as we regularly need to replace them. We appreciate any donation you can give. To buy one mini pool pool (+ one pump to inflate and one pump to remove the water) costs £175 + processing fees + delivery.
"We had our baby girl in the early hours of yesterday, at home in the pool. It was an amazing birth, really brilliant and I absolutely loved using the pool. So comfy...! Thank you both so much."
We have 14 pools in circulation and sometimes they spring a leak and need to be retired. Currently we have more requests for pools than we can accommodate.

Thanks so much for the loan of the pool. A great service. Although we had a home birth, we didn't actually end up using the pool but it gave me peace of mind knowing it was there, just in case.
