Young Hackney Jedis Basketball Club is a community sports club for all age groups and was formed in conjunction with the charity Young Hackney, a community centre for all young people run by the Hackney Council.

We are a group of qualified volunteer basketball coaches including ex London Lions professional players. Our aim is not only to provide activities and participation for youths but also to find talent from kids at a young age, offer grassroots development and make great things happen - from college basketball opportunities to the NBA! We emphasise the values of hard work, repsect and friendship which are demonstrated on- and off-court by our players.

We hold regular sessions for U12s, U14s and U16s at Stoke Newington School. Your kind donations in the past has meant new kit, more training sessions and tournaments for the Jedis. Having started with a group of 5 kids 4 years ago, we have a group of 40 friends aged 7-17 who proudly made it to the U12s and U16s Community Basketball League (CBL) Finals!

We continue to grow as part of the community - we look to enter the National Basketball League (NBL) for more age groups as well as start a GIRLS TEAM this year. Please be part of our amazing journey ahead :) One Love from the Jedis Family x
