I've raised £1000 to help support the treatment of our soldiers, police officers and staff.

I'm going to be walking Hadrian's Wall to help raise money for two vital charities supporting our front line staff.
During my time in the army and the police, I have had the honour to serve with the finest soldiers, police officers and staff. The very best of them are making a difference every day, and often out of sight of the public or the media.
They put themselves in danger for our safety, and sacrifice so much to do this on our behalf. We have all seen this throughout the pandemic, as they stepped up when their country and communities needed them.
Being on the front line can take its toll both physically and mentally. Both the Police Treatment Centre and The Solider's Charity (Army Benevolent Fund) are there for them at these challenging times. I have personally seen the life changing impact this support can make to those who sacrifice so much for us. Your donation will help both charities, and will truly make a difference, no matter how small.
At the end of my service, I will walk one last beat, carry out one last patrol, by walking the length of Hadrian's Wall. Starting on Monday 25 April 2022, I will finish on 30 April 2022 which is my last day serving as an officer. These last miles on duty, are to thank the front line.
