Hadrian's Hike Refugee Fundraiser

We're going to hike Hadrian’s Wall in August 2022 to raise funds for refugees. The money we raise will be shared between Moonlight Trust and Care4Calais West Yorkshire, two refugee charities close to our hearts.

Having worked with and supported refugee charities over the past few years and campaigned for refugee rights, we wanted to do something to contribute by way of raising awareness and money.

Hadrian’s Wall is a well known UK trail which is 84 miles long. We intend to complete the walk in six days walking roughly 15-18 miles a day. Whilst this is a huge personal challenge for us, we recognise that it is a fraction of the thousands of miles many refugees have to travel to find safety. We’ll be camping along the way using only the items we can carry.

We’ll be sharing our journey on social media before and during the hike to raise the most possible funds and awareness for refugees.

This just giving page has been set up by Tee and Sarah for Care4Calais West Yorkshire and Moonlight Trust. Once we've completed the hike, we'll transfer funds equally into the bank account of each charity by the 31st August.
