Story

I have been thinking for some time about supporting a cause which is close to my heart and very fortunate to find out about PATANG.

This venture was started by two females who wanted to provide an opportunity to help underprivileged families in Pakistan. PATANG offer a vocational training facility in that very town where these females master their skills by learning from one another and experts. PATANG ensures that their hard work is recognised and appreciated by the world, which leads into economic uplifting of these females.

The facility was started with some personal savings and financial help is required now to upgrade the workshop and provide opportunities to more females. Females who work at the facility are paid even when the garment is not sold to ensure they can continue providing basic life necessities to their kids such as food, home and clothes.

An online fashion store that provides a creative space to underprivileged women to practice their talent and help them lift their families out of poverty. You can view PATANG great work here - https://www.patang.co/

The hard work and dedication of females who work at the facility have inspired me and I would like to personally support this cause by running two half marathons within two weeks (Bristol Half and Oxford Half).

I will be sharing some true stories over the next few weeks from the females who work at the facility. Your contribution can help lift a family out of poverty!
