I've raised £600 to Purchase a 2nd Defibrillator for Hail Weston
Organised by Jenni McClagish
If your heart stops beating in the community your chance of survival is only 8.6% . If a community defibrillator is by your side in the first few minutes your survival chances rise to up to 75%.
A Community Defibrillator is accessed with a number code, provided by the Ambulance control room when you dial 999. Anyone can use it, with or without training.
We are raising money for a 2nd Hail Weston Defibrillator to be placed in the telephone box in the village to ensure quick access for all residents. £1400 has already been raised, so only £600 to go
