I've raised £2600 to build a community well, in memory of our father, Hajji. Abdul Quddus.

Words cannot express the joy, love and caring nature our dad brought to our lives. He treated everyone with kindness and respect, making every moment shared with him filled with laughter and smiles.
A notable characteristic of our dad was his hardworking ethos, doing the utmost for his family, we cannot thank him enough. We are proud to have known such an incredible, thoughtful and strong man, one who would be too modest to hear such praises.
Dad will be deeply missed; by his family, friends and our community. His unexpected passing leaves us shocked and bewildered. While we wish for more moments with him and reminisce in the past, our intention more than anything is to complete good deeds in his name.
Sadaqah Jariyah means a continuous, flowing and ongoing charity. It is one of the most rewarding acts we can do in our lives as the benefits of giving this type of charity can be reaped in this lifetime and long after we have passed.
“Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have accounted for in a clear register.” (Qur’an, 36:12)
We have chosen a Community water well as it can serve more than 1,000 people. They are often located in arid areas where water is particularly scarce. These water wells provide enough clean water for families, livestock and crops.
Please help us insha’Allah in completing our goal to provide essential water to those most in need in honour of our dad, something we know would bring him such happiness.
May Allah (Swt) grant our father the highest rank of Jannah.
Thank you, Jazakallah.
