I've raised £200 to help buy educational toys and resources for the House of Hope in Bethlehem

As many of you know, I spent a year working at the House of Hope in Bethlehem when I was 19. This is a Palestinian run home, which provides both day care and boarding facilities for Palestinian children and young people who are either blind or have severe learning needs. The children come from very poor backgrounds and are provided with a hot meal in the school, before they go home (if they aren't boarders) The home is very loving and caring, but is largely reliant on donations in order to survive. When I went back last February, I was struck by the lack of resources, particularly for the blind children. The children have an outside yard to play in, but nothing to play with.
I am visiting again next February and would like to be able to take some educational resources and toys for the children. Last year I was able to take specially designed footballs that have a bell inside for the blind children to play with. However this year I would like to be able to take games such as large size UNO with braille, braille connect 4, resources for blind children such as eating and dressing aids, and also some simple toys for them to play with (which need to be culturally appropriate)
As I am running the Adnams 10k, I thought I would use it as a good opportunity to try and raise some money for the House of Hope. Any donation that you might be able to give will be used to buy items which I will take when i visit in February.
