I've raised £750 to to help rescue for the local community a major hoard of silver Roman coins unearthed at Cookley in north-east Suffolk

An important hoard of silver Roman denarii has been discovered locally and we believe local people should be able to see them in their local museum in Halesworth.
There are 58 silver coins and two forgeries. It would be a very important addition to our local collections and a great source of local pride and interest. The cost to secure them is £4,500. We have already applied for and been awarded £3,500 by the Victoria and Albert Museum Purchase Grant Fund and the Headley Trust. We are tantalisingly near our target but are still in need of further donations to achieve this. Please help if you can.
A brief description of the hoard and some example coins follows also for a more detailed description, see the report of H.M. Coroner – Treasure No. 2018T677.: Link here.
