Story

Since 2015 the India Purchasing team has been raising funds to install toilets in Schools in the countryside around Pune. This project is called OASIS and so far has installed 10 toilets.

Sanitation is currently a big topic in India. The Government is on a huge drive to improve the situation, however schools don't have the resources to invest so any help we can give has a huge impact on the local communities. Every new toilet means children no longer have to use the surrounding land as a toilet.

6 Intrepid adventurers will be cycling the 140miles between JLR Halewood and JLR Gaydon over 2 days to raise money so that the India Purchasing team can continue to put back into the local community. All funds will go to the team out in India, the team are funding themselves.

Team: Richard Jamison, Dan McCarthy, Phil Hartley, Wes Bramley, Tim Griffiths, Matt Best, Robyn Sweeney and Nakita Palak
