On Thursday 13th, a stable block containing a workshop and stables to rabbits and goats had a serious fire. Hamerton Zoo are pleased to let everyone know that animals were all rescued and are fine, however, as you can see the stable block has been completely destroyed together with thousands of pounds of tools for keeping the zoo maintained.

I work for Tesco Distribution and over the last few years, we have supported the zoo with food donations. After hearing of the fire, we are shocked as like many people have shown our children the rabbits and goats which were contained in these stables. We are now looking to support them more and hoping you can do the same. We are looking to support the zoo in anyway we can, using our massive workforce and our contacts.

I have set this page up to assist raise funds for the zoo and will be handed to them in the forthcoming weeks to help rebuild before the summer months.
