Story

Hi everybody I hope you are well, my name is Hamza Afridi. I always wanted to set up a charity to help people living with my condition so I came up with the name ''Afridi Brother's Society'' (ABS). My disability involves lack of abs or you could say lack of Dystrophin due to the inability to make/restore muscles. I hope one day people living with this condition will be able to produce muscles in their bodies so that they have the physique they always dreamed of. ABS will be a non profit organisation to create awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and to provide support to people suffering from DMD in underdeveloped countries around the world starting of with Pakistan.

Here is our plan:

We will open a centre in Pakistan which will cater for 20 patients at a time where they will be diagnosed and treated according to their specific needs.

Secondly , we will be providing specialist equipmentsand medications so that they can manage their disability effectively and have a quality of life.

Finally, to fund important research which will be critical in finding a cure.

Thank you

Hamza Afridi
