Story
On Friday 2nd December 2022, an amazing, talented young boy was tragically taken from us called Hamza Alrimi, aged just 13.
Hamzah was a student at my Sidney Stringer Academy & someone I coached for Christ The King U14s. Hamza was our best player. Not only was he immensely talented but he was humble, respectful and a friend to so many. His teammates looked up to him and always felt reassured that Hamza would support them if needed to.
I will miss coaching and teaching Hamza so much. He listened, was so determined and always looked at me with a big smile. You were always the first player down on the team sheet and the last player helping me take the nets down at the end of each match. Hamza’s number one supporters were his family, who attended all his games and encouraged him from the sidelines. I feel extremely privileged to have met such wonderful people in my life.
The recent news has left all of us completely devastated and words cannot describe how it feels for everyone that knew Hamza. An amazing boy who had it all in front of him, taken too soon. We feel blessed to have had Hamza in our lives. It was an amazing chapter and your legacy will live on throughout our school, Football club and city.
I would like to support the family during this extremely challenging time by raising money which could go towards any unexpected costs they might incur.
Rest in peace Hamza. You will never be forgotten.
