My grandmother is the most selfless and helpful person ive ever known, shes always been there for me no matter what i needed her for, shes always put others first so id like to show her how grateful I am by providing her with one of her wishes before its too late.

Back in May, my grandmother received some news that a rare condition called Lymphangioleiomyomatosis which destroys the lungs.

My Nan had been receiving treatment for the last 6 years but received the news that the treatment she's receiving is no longer working and that they've decided they would no longer be treating her for the condition.

The only way to overcome this illness is a lung transplant but with my nans other illnesses they've said that this would be too much of a risk and there's a good chance it wouldn't work. She does not want to attempt the lung transplant due to these risks so they are providing her with medication to keep her going as long as possible.

A big dream of my nans since she was a teenager was to visit America and she has never had the chance to fulfil this dream so my JustGiving page is to raise money to help fund my nans trip to America with my grandad as a last ever holiday which she more than deserves.
