It has always been a dream of mine to run the London Marathon and after having to defer due to injuries last year I am so pleased to be given the opportunity this year instead. I’d like to say that I am currently injury free, but I would be lying! I have decided that I am still going to take part, enjoy the experience and give it my best shot. It won't be easy but I love a challenge! I also want to take part to inspire my children and show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and that your dreams are in reach if you work hard and persevere.

When I run the London Marathon I will be fundraising for my school, St Gregory Primary School in Sudbury, Suffolk. 

I will also be supporting lots of our pupils (including Theo and Josh) as they take part in the Mini London Marathon the day before the 'real' one! As well as inspiring my own children, I hope to inspire all the children at St Greg's too and any money I can raise at the same time for our lovely little school would be a real bonus.
