Rupert is a remarkable little boy who has endured the most dreadful diagnosis with incredible fortitude. Through major operations and extensive chemotherapy he has remained a ray of sunshine - supporting his parents, brother and sisters through a two year ordeal that no one can really imagine. Unfortunately the treatment has not cured Rupert's cancer and they have run out of NHS options. We are trying to raise £750,000 to send Rupert to the USA for treatment. Tom, Katie and Ben are organising and taking part in a sponsored 24 hour silence on 14th July to raise as much as we can to do our bit. They don't know Rupert personally, or his family, but have heard about him and his brave family and have been incredibly touched. When they asked if they could help to raise money I suggested a sponsored 24hr silence. Anyone who knows them well (especially the boys!) will know this will not be an easy thing for them ;-)
