Hi, my name is Hannah and im a single mum to 2 amazing teens. They have been my young carers for the last 7 years now as i suffer from hypersensitivity pneumentis and HLH. They have never once complained and have been beyond life saving. I won‘t go into too much detail but they have had a rough few years and have been told to say goodbye to me twice as i have been in a coma and extremely unwell. I am still here and so grateful to still be fighting but an opportunity has come up for my 16 year old daughter that is her dream and i just cannot ler her turn it down.

She has played football since she was 7, she started in a local grassroots team amd progressed up to county. 4 years ago she went to trial for Arsenal and didn’t make it, it was hard but she never gave up and just worked harder. She was determined so 3 years ago, a year on from her first trial, she went to trial again. This time she was sucessful! I spent a lot of time driving her up to Hertfordshire for training and matches but it was worth it to see her progress and be so happy. My condition worsened 18 months in and i could not drive. She was so disappointed but just kept working in the hope she would go back. A year on i recovered enough to drive and Arsenal welcomed her back happily. She never stopped working. She has now been given the most amazing opportunity by Arsenal to go and train with them full time, play matches and ger her foot onto the first stage of the England national pathway, whilst they also educate her through her A-levels. This was something we never expected. The club has been amazing and have funded her education and training but she needs to stay in the accomodation up there as well which unfortunately cannot be funded. If we cannot afford the accomodation i will have to try and drive her there and back daily which will equate to about 5 hours or so depending on traffic. With my health being the way it is this is hugely worrying and may end up in her not making it. She has worked so, so hard and pulled theougj every obstacle she has faced so it would break my heart to tell her she will have to turn this opportunity down because we cannot afford the accomodation fees. The fees are £4,640 but she has been saving all she can as have i. We do not like to ask and this is the first time we have ever had to do this. It is a last resort so any help would be hugely appreciated. Thank you x
