Since we opened our doors at Dante Italian Kitchen we have had the pleasure of building a strong team of employees who are passionate about the service they provide and always give of their very best.

One of our main waiters Billy Dimos, 35, is originally from Corfu in Greece. He has just received the most devastating news that his beloved sister, Stami Dimou, 31 has been diagnosed with a very aggressive type of stomach cancer.

Here in the UK we have the amazing facility of the NHS. This enables us to rest assured that should we receive a blow such as Billy and his family have received, we can expect to get prompt health care to tailor to the needs of our condition. Unfortunately Billy's family do not have this available to them in Greece and so are raising the money, upwards of £50,000 to fund his sisters emergency operation and treatment.

Stami has been given only a month to live if she does not proceed with the emergency treatment on offer. We are determined here at Dante to do all we possibly can to raise the funds to help Billy's family out in Greece. We remain positive for Billy that if Stami can have the treatment she needs and so deserves in order to survive this that she will go on to live a full life with her family and make many more memories to come.
