Story
‘My Voice Matters’ is a participatory photography project for selected Oakfield Academy pupils. The aims of the project are: for pupils to enjoy developing photography skills and visual literacy; to help pupils reflect upon what makes them feel positive; to celebrate pupils’ success with a final exhibition of their work.
Katy Brickley, Hannah Mundy and dogs will be walking from Frome to Bath on 22 June. We hope that you will support our small walk with a donation (£5 would be lovely). All funds will go towards an exhibition of pupils’ photographs in Frome (venue tbc).
Update: we did it! We made the walk from Frome to Bath in just over 8 hours (no record, sorry - we were slow as we were admiring the ancient oaks along the route. Let me know if you’d like to know our journey, as it was a beautiful walk and almost entirely roadless). Thank you, your support means the exhibition is going ahead. I will post details of where and when.
