I’m Hannah Munro-Pasquet an Independent Usborne Partner based in Gloucestershire. I own “Oscar’s Reading Corner” and I will be raising funds for the Aspire Foundation.

The Aspire Foundation is a charity aimed at delivering successful, high-quality early intervention services and educational programmes to families with young children. These include local Sure Start programmes, family support services, children’s centres, primary schools and early year’s settings. They aim for children and families to achieve their potential together through the provision of support, information, learning and play opportunities.

Using Usborne’s Community Book Pledge my aim is to help schools, nurseries and charitable organisations benefit from more books, easing financial strain and boosting literacy levels by encouraging reading for pleasure. With the help of local people and businesses, the funds raised will be used to buy books which will be distributed among the Aspire Foundations centres in order to make a positive impact on as many children and families as possible.

I’m aiming to collect £1000 in donations to buy books, Usborne will then generously provide an additional £600 worth of free books on top of this. Hopefully this will provide useful resources for many local families and children's.
