I am looking for personal sponsorship for Morecambe Ladies FC.
The money raised will go towards pitch hire, coaching, kit, equipment, referees, transport and much more.
This is not the only reason I'm asking friends and family for small contributions- this year is a little bit different for me.
My mum passed away on May 15th after a short battle with cancer. Mum was my biggest fan and took me up and down the motorway to training/matches since I was 11 years old. She loved watching me play and always supported me throughout.
As most of you will probably know mum spent about 3 months in St Marys Hospice, which is a charity very close to my heart. With the money I raise I would like to have the St Mary's Logo on my kit and also a #teamshirl logo which I am designing myself. I'd love nothing more than to wear my kit and show off the St Marys Logo and even more so have my mum's name on my back. This might be an unusual request but the hospice aren't in a position to provide sponsorship as every £1 they raise counts towards the £3.2M of their running costs.
All I'm asking for is a small amount per supporter to contribute to continuing mum's legacy and support the women's game.
