Story
The poverty that families in Uganda are living in is so great, making Uganda the 19th poorest country in the world. Families are large even though many children die from malnourishment. Older siblings look after the younger children 24/7 whilst the parents are out trying to make as much money as they can. These families live off almost nothing.
Kira farm is based in Uganda and its aim is to help as many families living in poverty as possible. It teaches people how to grow crops, start buisnesses and earn money. It enables families to take a full advantage of where they live and how to use what they have already got. Kira Farm and Amigos changes lives. I hope to help change lives in Uganda by travelling there in October 2018 and seeing for myself what our fundraising and charity event can do to help.
