Story
Millions of people across Africa struggle daily in order to get access to everyday items that we, in developed countries, take for granted. This is the reason why I have decided to go to Kenya for 2 weeks to help in a local community, to do my part to make a difference. During my time there, I will take part in jobs such as building classrooms for the local school to give children the simple right to learn. I will also be teaching English in this same school, as well as performing tasks to protect the amazing wildlife in Kenya. For example, I will help to build elephant-deterrant fences around the villages, in order to prevent the human-animal conflict in the area (this is because to many farmers over there - elephants are just pests!) as you can see, this is an amazing opportunity for me to try and make a difference where I can. I will be raising all of the money myself through my part time job and fundraising here and there, so every little bit truly helps. Thank you!
