Weʼve raised £20 to Multiple Sclerosis Christmas Charity Ball

Funded on Wednesday, 7th December 2016

    Story

I am in the process of planning a charity ball in support of the MS Society who provide support for those suffering from multiple sclerosis and their families. My aim for this ball is to help raise not only money for the charity but also awareness of the disease itself. I have written to numerous people and companies to get sponsorship to help towards the cost of the ball but without success. Funds towards the costs incurred by running the ball will enable us to raise more money for the charity itself and give MS sufferers the chance of additional support. MS attacks the body’s nervous system and can often lead to the sufferer being wheelchair bound or paralysed as a result of it. MS doesn’t just effect the sufferer but also the other family members who care for them. MS currently has no cure. The MS society provides the necessary support for MS sufferers and their families, help in adaptations to the home where necessary and advice on ways to live a fulfilling life while coping with the disease.

With only a month left until the MS Christmas Charity Ball I am still aiming to raise as much money as possible.
