Story

I've signed up to do this year's Triathlon @ Alderford Lake to try and raise some money to help a very lovely little girl called Lily-Mae.
Me and Eden first met Lil and her mum Marie at a breast feeding playgroup in Tunstall, both the kids were less than a few weeks old, it was a really nice group of mums and babies and we all became friends easily!
At the age of 3, Lil started to show delays in her learning and had various tests to try and get to the bottom of what was causing these delays.
In April 2020 Lil was diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington's Disease, an incurable brain condition, with a prognosis of up to 10 years.
Friends and family started to raise money in 2020, wanting to plan lots of asking experiences for Lil to share with her family while she is still able, including a trip to Disneyland Paris, however due to Covid plans got cancelled left, right and centre and Lil has deteriorated further in the meantime.
I'm wanting to raise money so that it can be used however best to support Lil and her little sister Luna, to enjoy the time they have together having fun as sisters should! Whether it is used for days out, food, equipment, taxi fares to hospital, a glass of wine for Marie after a hard day... Please sponsor me if you have any pennies spare! I am working my bum off swimming, cycling and running ready for the triathlon, which is a 750m open water swim, 20km cycle and 5km run. Thanks for reading, Han xxx
