70km Walk in Memory of Pete's 70th

My Dad died very suddenly last year and we all miss him very much!! its been a really sad year coming to terms with his loss, I have experienced a very difficult time but am now getting stronger and want to do something in his legacy.

I am going to walk 70km from the 1st - 15th October. I will complete 63km before my dads birthday and on the 15th October 2020, his 70th, complete a 7km walk around the Trundle to celebrate his birthday and his last resting place. With his sister "Auntie" Sue we will complete the 7km walk, being joined for the last 1km by Poppy and family who are near and dear.

My Dad always loved books and even wrote 2 ! he believed in the knowledge and education they can give. So we have decided to set up a fundraising page for Kingsham Primary School, where Poppy has just started school, who are raising funds for books and materials after the refurbishment of the school library.

3 generations of our family have attended Kingsham Primary School, my Dad, his brother and sister in the 1950's, my 2 brothers and I in the 1980s, my 2 nieces in the 2000's and now Poppy in 2020 !! so we thought this would be such a great cause in memory of my Dad's 70th.

Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated in memory of a great Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. xxx
