I've raised £1000 to Raise money for me to go on a Zambia expedition to help the disadvantaged children and families.

The children and families in Zambia and Botswana are battling poverty and have been for their whole lives. They are living in houses and huts, made of grass, mud and sticks. This is not the quality of life that they , or anyone, deserves. The families need support, love and help to get through this burdensome battle.
I want to make a difference to the lives of these poor , disadvantaged families because I hate the fact that we , who are lucky, are just living our lives and most of the time not thinking about these poor families or committing ourselves to anything like this. I want to understand their day to day lives , gain experience and independence - but most of all I want to help these people. These people are struggling daily and it's not right.
I have recently been given the opportunity to partake in an expedition to Zambia and Botswana with the company World Challenge. I will be going in July 2019 and will be understanding the local families and their daily struggles. When I am there, I will be building more civilised and secure homes for the less fortunate. I will also be attending the local schools to understand how different school life actually is in a deprived country and support the children in the schools with their vital educational needs. I will also be trekking through the Batoka Gorge and experiencing major sights throughout Zambia such as Victoria falls. During the exhibition, I will be maintaining and securing my own accommodation, money and food as well as gaining independence and team skills.
To attend this exhibition, I need to raise money in order to get there as the company that I am doing the exhibition with are for students and want the students to fund raise the money. I am a student, and I have never done anything like this before. I believe it will be a great experience full of ups and downs, and an incredible opportunity for me to partake in succouring these underprivileged families.
