I've raised £7500 to Help Adam fulfil his bucket list and raise money for Macmillan.

Hello. First of all, thank you for looking at my story.
My name is Adam and I am 39 years old. In November 2017 I started experiencing back pains . I was told it was muscle strain however it never got better and I was referred for an MRI scan. The results showed a fractured vertebrae and an unknown mass. The doctors referred me to specialists. In the mean time the pain was unbearable and I was eventually taken to hospital.
Upon further tests it has transpired that I have adenocarcinoma (cancer of the stomach that is spreading through adeno glands) with a primary source of the upper GI tract. This has spread to my liver and spine. I have been told it is not curable and the general prognosis is 9-12 months. This has been a massive whirlwind of emotions and shock for my family and I.
This brings me to the very hard situation of asking for help. I have 2 lovely little boys, Zach (6) and Logan (4). Unfortunately, I don't have a great income and I am desperate to give my boys lasting memories of time spent with their father.
I have a list of things I would love to do before my time comes:
- Before I knew about my illness I booked a holiday to take my boys to Disneyland Paris in September 2018. Unfortunately, I don't know if I will still be able to do this due to finance and time. I am hoping that with your help I will be able to take them, as it could be our last 'proper' family holiday.
- I would like to be able to take the children on days out, places such as beaches, sea life centers, to the cinema and lunches -
Things that I haven't been able to do much of recently but these days bring memories.
-I want to give my boys the biggest and best birthdays this year. And I would love to do the same for Christmas as it will possibly be my last.
- I would love to experience a day at a racing track
- I also would love to raise money for Macmillan - a charity who have been absolutely amazing with me throughout this process. For every £1 donated macmillan will receive 25%.
Thank you so much for your time.
