In the summer 2018, I am travelling to Ecuador with a group from my school with Camps International. Over the course of the month we will be immersed in the local communities in Ecuador, and taking part in projects to make their lives better. Camps International has previously planted over 700000 trees, built over 30 classrooms and 1000 desks, improved the attendance of a rebuilt school from 170 to almost 800. Over 30000 people have benefitted from these projects worldwide and I hope to be able to help increase these numbers when I go. Throughout the month I will travel to different sites around Ecuador, one will be an Amazonian site to witness the marine damage and deforestation that has taken place.
My main aim for the trip is to make a difference and help make local communities better and put a smile on their face. This trip will be a life changing experience for us to help others and learn about ourselves and develop our minds.
