    Story

Hi there, on 11th November this year my daughter passed away just minutes after being born, I can't thank the staff at my local hospital enough for all of their support. They gave us precious memories we will treasure forever, taking beautiful photos of our precious Emily, and providing us with a Sands Memory box, heart in the hand keyring and some moulds of our little girls hands and feet. We would love to give back to the hospital in a way that would help other parents when they face these awful times as we know all too well that they happen too often. This is our 3rd time we have buried a child through death at birth. My son John was born on 29th March 2013 at 23 weeks sadly as he was below the 24 week gestation nothing was done to save his little life and just under 2 hours later he passed away in his daddy's arms. 16th October 2015 our precious rainbow baby Harry was sadly stillborn at 29 weeks. Sadly on 11th November this year a decision was made to induce my Labour as I was very ill and so our daughter Emily came out fighting but again as she was born before she'd reached 24 weeks there was no help for her tiny body and she fell into her final deep sleep just 18 minutes after she was born. Each time we have been blessed with outstanding staff surrounding us in our bereavement and we would like to fundraise to help provide the local unit with more of the packages provided for us. And so we are now hoping to raise some funds towards this, we are hoping to arrange a fun night in memory of our angels where there will be some prizes up for grabs by means of raffles. It would be great if some businesses would provide a gift for us to offer for possible raffles in order to raise funds. I would be grateful if you would consider this and possibly donate any small gift, donation or even just share our story and spread the word. All proceeds will go directly to purchasing goods to be supplied to Causeway Hospital. In memory of our angels, John, Harry and Emily
