I've raised £700 to replace dead street trees in Hanover & Elm Grove, Brighton. #LoveOurTrees

Hanover Action having been working to overcome the problems that mean the tress in our urban environment are being lost - and cannot be replaced due to funding cuts. Having explored all options, we are fundraising to replace dead street street trees in Hanover & Elm Grove because we #LoveOurTrees
This means we will replace two trees - with the match funding we had from a local Councillor. A Silver Birch in Ewart Street, and an Elm outside Elm Grove School, Elm Grove will now be planted.
Along with the 2 trees above, with your help we can also replace the dead tree at the junction of Totland Road-Hartington Road with a Himalayan Birch tree. This location forms part of the huge avenue of trees that runs all the way from the Lewes Road right to to the top of Hartington Road.
All trees are being replaced with the support of Brighton & Hove Council who will undertake the enabling works and reinstatement of pavement, etc.
