In June 2017 I travelled to Fiji to volunteer with Think Pacific. I lived in a rural village up in the highlands on Viti Levu, taught education and coached all kinds of sport to the local school, St Teresa. It was honestly the best month of my life, living with a family, getting to know the whole village by name and celebrating each evening with dance and song.

I would love to continue volunteering around the world, becoming part of a community which I can help influence and improve. I've always wanted to see the world, but this way I can truly immerse myself into the culture and traditions of the countries I visit rather than staying in the 'travellers paradise' so many people my age are doing nowadays.
