Story

The Geordies Rally Together to Support Danny Vincent 🖤🤍

Hanwell Town FC are calling on our football family and the wider football community to come together in support of former Assistant Manager, Manager and Clubman Danny Vincent, who is currently battling illness.

A local lad through and through, Danny’s football journey began with Crystal Palace and Brentford youth sides before moving into Non-League football with Carshalton, Kingstonian and Southall. After hanging up his boots, he went on to manage Old Actonians, before joining Hanwell Town—initially as Assistant Manager and then as First Team Manager for the 2005/06 season.

Danny has been part of some of the most important moments in Hanwell Town’s story. He was with us in 1998 when the first stand was built at Reynolds Field; 1999 when we finished runners-up in the Spartan South Midlands League; 2000 as Middlesex Senior Cup finalists; 2006 when the Geordies earned promotion to the Southern League; and at countless key points in between.

Over the coming months, we will be launching a number of fundraising initiatives to support Danny and his family during this difficult time and we are asking our community, supporters and former players to get involved in anyway they can.

Thank you for your support and please keep Danny & his family in your thoughts 🖤🤍
