Story

Hi all. My name is Maria, and I am trying to raise money to help my uncle, Hany, to build a garden in Egypt, the country we are from. Hany lives in Egypt and he is trying to open a large garden and horticultural society in Egypt - somewhere where this is non-existent. The area is 3900 metres squared and will include areas of indoor and outdoor horticulture, new technology such as aquaponics, ponds, insect farms, as well as bee hives.

His aim is to open this garden where members of the public can enter and de-stress as well as learn about nature. He also aims to improve eco-awareness in a country where this is minimal, and educate children via school trips about the importance of caring for nature and why it is important to protect endangered bees. A large part of the project is to help children with autism and learning difficulties in a country where mental health is highly stigmatised. This project aims to create a large garden with to educate the public and change attitudes towards horticulture, as well as supporting mental health and raising awareness.

This project has the potential to be extremely fruitful and help the people and country of Egypt. Education is the key to improving our world in terms of climate change, recycling efforts, and protection of endangered species - this effects all countries and all people. This project has the potential to benefit all of us, so please, any donation will be massively appreciated. Thank you.
