Lohri is a traditional Punjabi event that marks the end of winter; over time it has been used to celebrate the birth of a boy or the marriage of a newly-wed couple, however, often girls are ignored.

Her Lohri exists to challenge and change tradition conceptions to make gender inequality more prevalent in society, to celebrate everything woman.

We are a group based in Nottingham, our aim to address disparities for all women (and girls) to improve their lives.

Locally we will be helping homeless and vulnerable women that may be abused or victims of domestic abuse.
