Story

Harlow College is currently supporting frontline NHS and care providers by producing and distributing, free of charge, essential personal protective equipment (PPE), mainly face visors - but we need your help to continue this work.

Every pound you’re able to donate will allow us to continue to order stocks, make parts on our 3D printers and CNC machines, put the face visors together and distribute them to much needed areas on the frontline.

We supply mainly to Princess Alexandra Hospital and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping (part of PAH). We are also helping care providers, GP surgeries and pharmacies across West Essex and East Herts.

Our visors are being boxed up and distributed on a daily basis, but we urgently need more materials and equipment to fulfill demand.

We were very fortunate to benefit from a previous Crowdfunding campaign, started by local Sawbridgeworth resident Graham Rider. Through Graham’s efforts and the generous donations from local businesses and residents, over £10,000 was raised to pay for PPE and of that total, as of the last week of April, nearly half of that has been ploughed back into ordering supplies.

Please donate if you think you can help. By working collaboratively, we can all do our bit to help the NHS and other frontline workers in this time of national crisis. Every little really does help!
