Story
Forage Aid helps farmers whose feed or bedding supply has been disrupted by extreme weather by sourcing and distributing feed and bedding with the help of donations from the farming community. The charity was set up by farmers themselves in 2013 to help farms in the UK that had been hit by heavy snow and were struggling to feed their livestock. Since then, Forage Aid has helped over 150 farms across the UK by sourcing and coordinating more than £850,00 worth of goods and services donated by fellow farmers, businesses and other charities.
Each contribution is not just a donation; it is a lifeline that ensures farmers can provide for their animals during times of need.
