What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The Edwin Davis Memorial Community Interest Company has been set up to raise funds for the company Show Up. Show Up provides creatively structured, skill based drama workshops, leading to a high quality production in the classroom, weekly at no cost to the schools it works with. This experience helps the children involved develop confidence and resilience, so key to good mental health and development. Check out the website for details!

I have had to set up the Just Giving site again, because funds were needed for the upcoming Summer productions in July! I hope the next update will be to send you all an invitation. In the meantime, thanks for all your support and I hope to see you at the shows!

Following my husband's death from suicide in 2018, I decided to set up this fund to enable free drama workshops leading to a production to take place in primary schools as part of the curriculum as a way of helping build resilience and confidence in young people.
