As some of you are already aware my Dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 Oesophageal Cancer which has spread to secondary Liver Cancer. Professionals confirmed that his outlook was not promising at all and he didn't have very long to live. He had to start chemo immediately to ensure he was still here by the end of the year, even with chemo they said it would be less than 2 years before he was gone. So as a family we decided to try an alternative therapy as another option along side the radiotherapy and chemotherapy -because the thought of losing him before Christmas was obviously unbearable. We then had an absolutely overwhelming amount of support on the first fundraising page to enable this process and we were completely blown away we made the target. We will be forever grateful to every single person who kept sharing the page and every single person who donated - thank you so much. We have some very good news for those of you have been emotionally or financially invested in this situation... my Dad had his first CT scan to determine whether it has responded........and it has!!!! The lesions on his liver have already halved in size and the thickenening in the oesophagus (the cancer) has shrunk as well - he is in 'partial response' which means the cancer has actually shrunk and we are now faced with the reality that we need to continue this therapy again and we could maybe actually see the words remission!!! I ask everyone with a very full heart can you all please keep sharing this page and if anyone can donate anything at all that would be absolutely amazing... this is a long process but I really have faith that my dad will get better with our help and hope. I will attach a copy of the radiology report when I share so you can see how the lesions have halved and he is responding to the treatment.
