Royal Family Kids is a week-long summer camp, specifically for children in the foster care system who have been affected by abuse and/or neglect in many forms. Its through this week away that these kids can get to be exactly that - kids. A week free of whatever situation they came out from. A week of fun and happiness, where these childen are given the oppertunity to learn and experience new things, while creating friendships, values and memories that will last them a lifetime.

It costs around £300 to send 1 child to camp, and its up to us, the volunteers at camp, to help raise those funds. We do this so that the children, their social workers or their carers don't have to pay a penny towards their week away. But I can't do it alone. In honour of raising the funds to be able to help send a child to camp, both my sister and I will be taking part in a Obstacle Colour Rush 5K run on 23rd June 2018. The situations of these children might be heartbreaking, but we wanted to do something that reflects exactly what camp is all about - fun! If you could donate in any way I would be so so greatful. Whether its £2, £10 or £50... Each penny you send gets me closer to being able to send a child to camp.
