. Harrison's Hope was setup in 2019 in memory of harrison hassall, who sadly gained his wings aged 2 days old on the 14th January 2019. Harrison's brain was starved of oxygen known as Hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE), which caused alot of complications to his death at Leicester's Royal Infirmary Neonatal unit.

Harrison's Hope is about helping support other families who have sadly suffered the loss of a baby, by providing little Comforts and organising special events familys can include their angels in as if they were still here.

We also work closely with Leicester's hospital Neonatal unit by helping raise funds so they can buy new and updated equipment for the whole of the unit & quiet room. The quiet room is where family's go to make precious memories before having to sadly say their goodbyes

The funds raised will help us go a long way, and will be used so we can continue providing comfort boxes to familys who have sadly suffered the loss of a baby and organising more special events for angel family's to join, such as our annual baby loss awareness Christmas tree of angels.

Inside harrisons comfort boxes contain -
• handmade unique clothing (family's can dress their baby in if they wish)
• watch over grow seeds
• little keepsakes to cherish for many years to come
• handmade & loved knitted items
• symphony card
These boxes can be used to hold other memories and keepsakes inside too.

Over the years we have also raised an incredible amount over £1000 for Leicester's Hospital NNU.
This has gone towards life safe equipment or equipment that will allow familys to spend more time with their child before having to say their goodbyes, such as -
• cuddle cot
• ventilators
• cooling units
• memory making equipment.
