Story

Harrogate Theatre needs our help to survive! As a charity Harrogate Theatre have very little grant funding and rely on a steady cash flow from year round shows, along with working to extremely tight budgets. Harrogate Theatre now face unavoidable cancellations they are facing a real risk of closure in the coming weeks. We need to support our only local Theatre who have been affected with the effects of COVID-19. The Theatre is a landmark of Harrogate and District community bringing entertainment to our town, not only this but provides a platform to local performing arts and dance schools this history building needs the support of its community and show support to this incredible landmark right on our doorstep.

CALLING ALL DANCERS!!!!

We bring to you Harrogate’s greatest dancer -online competition.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £250! The competition will be judged by national dance performer Emily Taylor.

Harrogate has a huge amount of talent and what better way to showcase and celebrate this talent whilst raising money to save our local Theatre!

Donations are greatly appreciated even if you don‘t wish to enter.

HOW TO ENTER…

 Simply share your video to this page. (Videos must be a maximum of 1 minute)

 Add your name, age, town and a couple of lines about you.

 Make a donation to the following just giving page. (Minimum £5)

 Share the HGD page and ask all your friends and family to vote for your video by liking your post.

 The ten videos with the most votes will be entered into the final and judged by Emily Taylor.

 Deadline for entries is 15th June.

 The winner will be announced on Friday 19th June.
