Kelso Branch of the Royal British Legion has been an integral part of Kelso Community for many years. As well as supporting veterans and serving military personnel, the Branch also supports local and military charities. The décor has now become somewhat dated and is in need of major redecoration. We would like to bring the premises up to date and make it a bright, modern and vibrant venue where not only can older members sit in comfort and recall their memories but where new and future members and non members can start to make their own.
I and others will be walking about 10 miles from Earl Haig's grave at Dryburgh Abbey to Kelso Legion on 29 Oct 2016 to raise funds for the project. Any donations will be greatly appreciated
