Forget-me-not is the name of the liaison committee of bereaved parents at the Maternity, Gynaecological, and Paediatric wards of the Ulster Hospital. It was set up in 2007 to improve and enhance the experience of parents who have been bereaved through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or the death of a child.

On 24th May 2017, at 39 weeks pregnant, my waters broke and i headed to hospital to find out that my baby boy had no heartbeat.

On 25th May 2017 my little Harry was born into this world still, weighing 6.14oz and 52cm tall, he was perfect in every way.

Whilst I was in hospital Forget-me-not provided me and my partner with so much support, one of the many things they did was enable us to mould his little hand and footprints into clay for us to keep forever.

I am so thankful to have had the support of this organisation and I would love to give back in the hope that any family who has to go through the tragic loss of a child, will receive the same care and support that we did.
