Recently I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. Myself and the rest of the Truro Football Academy have been invited to play in the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup in America.
This will take place in April 2017. During the week I will be involved in lots of activities. We will go to New York which has always been a dream of mine. I will live with an American family for the entirety which will be a great experience.
The tournament will consist of 184 teams travelling from all across the globe. The standard of players taking part will be the best standard I have ever played. Future professionals will be participating and with your help I will be able to compete against sides which contain some of the sport's best prospects. It's every boys dream to go to a foreign land and play the sport he loves.
The cost is the only factor which may stop me from doing this once in a lifetime opportunity. With a little help from everyone I can cut down the cost to make this happen. I will be doing many activities with the team to try and cut the cost of this trip. I have already planned to wax my legs and I do have extremely hairy legs!
Any donations big or small would be much appreciated. The opportunity I have in front of me is totally worth the overall cost. Please help me start my journey.
