As some may know, Harry spent the first week of his life on the Starlight ward at Wythenshawe Hospital fighting an infection. The support we received from the nurses and support workers was unimaginable. They work so hard to support the families and young children on the ward, going above and beyond in their duties to ensure you are made to feel as comfortable as possible.

Luckily, we only spent a short time on the ward as Harry fought hard to quickly fight the infection but other children aren’t so lucky and spend weeks, months and even years on and off the ward being treated for some serious illnesses.

Instead of gifts for Harry’s first birthday, we are asking for donations, no matter how small so that we can present the ward with some money to buy anything they need to provide a comfortable stay for children and their families.
