We are taking part in the Windsor Half Marathon, our athletes and coaches will be completing the Half Marathon - whilst carrying one of our quads, rigged. We are using this event to raise money for both the club, and a number of local charities that supported the family of one of our rowers, Amelie Zeal who sadly passed away over the Summer.

Amelie joined Hartpury University and College Boat Club in September 2024 as a J15. She settled in quickly and became an important part of the squad - always up for getting involved, working hard, and bringing plenty of energy to training. She had a quiet determination about her, and a way of making the people around her feel comfortable and included.

To recognise the charities that helped Amelie and her family, 50% of the money raised will be donated to chosen charities by her family. The other half will go towards a new boat for the club, which will be named after Amelie, as a way of memorialising her and keeping her spirit alive at the club.
